Our complete Weekly Meal Plans and Individual Meal Plans can be used whether you count
carbs or exchanges or follow a low Glycemic Index regimen.
Our Weekly Meal Plans and Individual Meal Plans all include portion sizes for 1400, 1800 and 2200 cal per day. Each day of our Weekly Meal Plans has three meals
and 2 snacks included in the total calorie count. Adjustment to other diet sizes is easy because calorie counts are listed for every meal item. Consult your doctor, certified diabetic educator or dietitian for your appropriate daily caloric intake.
All of our Weekly Meal Plans are designed to follow the currently published USDA guidelines for % Carbohydrate, Protein, Fat and Saturated Fat in a daily meal plan. All plans have a minimum of 25 grams of fiber and less than 300 mg of cholesterol per day. Sodium is limited to 1.5 mg per calorie, average.
All Individual Meal Plans may be substituted in the Weekly Meal Plans for similar meals. ie, dinner for dinner etc. If you do not like a particular meal in any of the Weekly Meal Plans, just substitute with an individual meal from the extensive Individual Meal Plan lists.
We do not recommend substituting your recipe for one of ours in any meal plan since it may not contain the same nutritional values as ours.
Portion control is very important so we recommend measuring all of your portions until you are comfortable with your new regimen.
All recipes, Individual Meal Plans and Weekly Meal Plans are designed in collaboration with and reviewed by a registered dietitian before publication.
